Ts and Cs
Potterydayz
We regret that refunds cannot be given nor can the date of your workshop be changed once booked but in the unlikely event that we need to postpone the workshop alternative dates will be offered. If you are redeeming a Potterydayz voucher and you do not attend once booked, your voucher will no longer be valid.
The workshop date booked is subject to Covid restrictions and changes of guidance and rules. If the date booked has to be postponed due to changes in Covid legislation a voucher valid for 6 months will be issued.
The cost of the workshop includes a return visit within 6 months to glaze and decorate your work.
It is the responsibility of the attendee to request a suitable date by email. Due to the high popularity in this follow up process it may not be immediately possible to offer a space, but it remains the responsibility of the attendee to pursue this request. If your enquiry is not answered, we apologise for this and recommend that you resubmit your interest. Although every reasonable attempt will made by Potterydayz to facilitate this a maximum of three offers will be given.
Pots once made will be kept for 6 months at which point, they will be discarded.
Glazing can be completed subject to space availability. Please contact Potterydayz to arrange a time.
If a glazing time is mutually agreed and you fail to appear without 24 hours’ notice you will forfeit this opportunity.
.
Please be aware that breakages do sometimes occur in drying and firing- it is unfortunate and an unpredictable nature of ceramics. It is a risk which the maker accepts.
Firings are carried out in large batches and due to the high volume of pieces made it is not possible to record the success or failure of an individual’s work. It will be assumed by Potterydayz that the work has survived. If upon the glazing visit to the workshop a customer finds this not to be the case- although we are sympathetic, we will be unable to compensate you for this inconvenience.
Once your workshop date is booked and should you not attend you will have forfeited your workshop and will not be entitled to rearrange it or have your money refunded.
*If you are redeeming a Potterydayz voucher and you do not attend once booked, your voucher will no longer be valid.
